Description: A winding slate path through overhanging vines and tropical foliage leads to the historic 1840 Carriage house. Slowly spinning ceiling fans stir the aromas of French-New Orleans accented cooking and fresh seafood and steaks grilling over mesquite. Envision yourself in New Orleans or Key West. Dining in the canopied garden, or on the candlelit veranda, the dream continues with the exotic cuisine of internationally acclaimed Chef Henry Sing Cheng, whose original creations include local-caught tuna, swordfish and mahi-mahi in fabulous sauces, elaborate entrees of local shellfish & lobster, and the justly famous smoked, grilled and blackened steaks and prime rib. Beyond the menu, a dozen or more seafood specials are offered nightly. The helpful staff, coolly attired in 410's signature tropical batik, makes you feel like you are dining on a private yacht. One of ZAGAT™s "AMERICA'S TOP RESTAURANTS 2012." Please call restaurant directly for parties larger than 6. (609) 884-2127

“Key West meets New Orleans Fare in Cape May”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

We found this place by following my nose! It's kind of set back from the street, there's not front entry way on the street. The main dinning room is outdoors, between buildings under a tent. The food is great! I had the lobster and crab gumbo,, it's less gumbo and more of a stew, but awesome! It's five star, and expensive!

“Best in Cape May!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

Had dinner last night at 410. This was our third visit. We were a party of 12. Every dish that came out was superb and well presented. Only one problem, my husband broke his tooth on a small piece of pecan shell from his dessert. Staff could not have been more gracious offering to pay his dental bill. Our waiter, Ron was great. Atmosphere wonderful.

Note to guest from June 2012 with 4 adults and 3 kids: why would you bring 3 kids to this place, especially with a screaming baby. That is just thoughtless and rude to other guests. Who wants to hear a baby crying during dinner? That's just stupid. The least you could have done is call a week ahead and get a 5pm res.

This is a great place to go for a couple's night out without the kids! The food was excellent and the specials were exceptional! Definitely experience the unique sauces and the desserts! Not cheap but well worth it!
