After deciding to eat last minute at the Pilot House, we were unpleasantly surprised at the apparent lack of attention and effort to pretty much everything. We were seated after about 5 minutes of waiting at a booth in the corner of the room. Perhaps the lighting added to the dinginess, but it was around noon and it looked like a dusty, unkempt restaurant. I ordered the Ahi Tuna appetizer which was priced at $15.00 and my sister ordered the Classic Caesar with a grilled chicken add on totaling $13.00. My tuna was not bad, in fact pretty tasty, however, fifteen dollars was very pricey considering the amount and grade. The salad my sister had ordered was not edible in her opinion as the chicken was extremely dry and the lettuce wilted. While dining, we were not checked on although we were seemingly the only diners at that moment. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant even though it has a prime location. For the price of the food, there are many quality restaurants within walking vicinity that would make for a memorable dining experience.
