“Wonderful hospitality!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the Albert Steven's Inn. We stayed in the Tapestry Room which was very nice and spotless. The host, Jim, was very knowledgeable about local activities and restaurants and gave us lots of recommendations to help improve our itinerary. The house is in the perfect location, within walking distance to everything, but the bikes provided with back pack beach chairs make going to the beach easy! What put our stay over the top was Jim's hospitality. On our last day, after we checked out we wanted to spend the day at the beach before heading home. He quickly offered us the bikes and beach chairs and let us park in the parking area until we left that night. A beautiful property in romantic Cape May!

Top notch from the moment of our arrival to the morning of our departure. We stayed in the study which has a comfortable king bed, Victorian furnishings and a modern bath. The room was extremely clean. The air conditioning and ceiling fan made temp control easy. Morning breakfast was fresh and served quickly. Fruit cup, main course and a breakfast bread served daily. The girls who wait are friendly and reliable. We loved the location. Easy walk to the beach, the mall, liquor stores and great restaurants. The ample parking is also a huge plus. Jim gave us beach tags and towels along with the complimentary beach chairs. Jim was also great with recommendations and directions!!! This is an A plus plus B and B!!!!

My husband and I came here for our one year wedding anniversary and had an amazing time! The inn itself is in a wonderful location where it is only a couple of blocks from the town center as well as the beach. We stayed in the "studio" room which was considered a suite. It was very spacious and comfortable. What I loved most was the very comfortable bedding and the cleanliness. It was super clean which is always a big factor in my impressions of places! Breakfast each morning was delicious! The breakfast cakes were to die for. What we loved most was the value of our whole stay. Jim provides bikes to use as well as beach chairs that can turn into back packs. We would put the beach chairs on our backs and ride to the beach..no hassle at all! We would definitely recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at this full service bed and breakfast in Cape May. Jim kicked off our stay with a thorough and patient tour of the Inn and made excellent recommendations for dining. Our room was very comfortable, well appointed, cool and as clean as could be. The bed was comfortable and the sheets top notch.

The Inn is located 4 1/2 blocks from a great beach and 2 1/2 blocks from the walking mall. You can walk but the Inn provides bicycles with baskets, beach chairs with straps so you can carry them over your back and beach towels.

Cold water, 24 hour coffee, happy hour wine and sangria and snacks were much appreciated offerings. We also liked the Hershey's chocolates which were available in the foyer.

There were many repeat guests and these cape may veterans had stayed in many places but touted the Albert Stevens as the best. You will not be disappointed in this Inn if you chose to stay.

Room Tip: If you like to bike, make sure you use the free bikes to go the 2.5 miles to the cape may lighthouse...

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Jim and Leeanne were great hosts. We stayed in the Studio. It was spacious and had a small wet bar and included games. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the snacks and Sangria were really nice in the afternoon. Everything was in walking distance. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood so we slept great. Jim is very knowledge about all the places to eat in town and gave us great advice on where to eat. we also took advantage of the available bicycles and beach passes. we plan to go back

This B & B was. by far, the best one we've ever visited. The building itself is gorgeous; such attention to detail! We stayed in the Rose Room, a large and very comfortable room at the front of the house. Bed was great, and sheets so smooth. Bathroom was on the small side, but perfectly adequate. Nice stall shower, with a rainshower head, plus a hand-held. A magnified side mirror, perfect for applying makeup or shaving. The towels were big and fluffy. The toilet seat cover was slow-close, so very quiet. Even the doors to the hallway close quietly. The place is immaculately clean. Jim and Lenanne are the perfect hosts, and their staff is friendly and conscientious. Lenanne's breakfasts were terrific; very tasty. We never needed lunch :-) Jim is like your personal guide to Cape May. He recommended restaurants and other attractions in the area. We had wonderful conversations with other guests, too. Every afternoon, at 4PM, Jim & Lenanne serve red wine, sherry, iced tea or lemonade. Freshly baked cookies are put out, along with crackers, cheese and cheese spreads. We would take our goodies out to the front porch and sit in the rocking chairs. We spent a lot of time on that front porch. Every morning, before breakfast, we would take our coffee out, rock and watch the world go by. We were out there again, at 4. Then after eating dinner out, we would come back, pour some decaf coffee, pick up a cookie and sit out there once again. Bliss!! I always use Trip Advisor when picking out a place to stay, and the reviewers were certainly correct on this one. We will definitely be going back!

Room Tip: All of the rooms looked lovely. We would probably return to the Rose Room, which was just right for...
