“Beautiful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The views are worth the $7 per adult ($3 for children) that you have to pay to get in. You get a great 360 view of the ocean and Cape May, including the WWII bunker on the beach. There is only one staircase so going up and down the nearly 200 stairs is a bit difficult especially since it gets very hot in there.

“It's a Lighthouse”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

. . . with a lot of steps, and like many lighthouses - - especially those in which the keeper did not reside - - is only slightly more interesting on the inside than it is on the outside, with some solace from paying the $8 admission charge in knowing that it goes to a good cause.

“Nice visit”

Walked up 199 steps to a great view. Lots of interesting artifacts in the building next door. Great getaway from the beach sun.

“Cape May Lighthouse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

This has a wonderful park and grounds with a birding lookout and beach access. The lighthouse was in great condition and has a limited muesum before paying for the climb up to the top.

“Fun for all ages”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

The history of the lighthouse and its location made this a fun excursion to go to via bike. The place abounded with activity and clearly people of all ages were enjoying the views and park. We moved on to see the concrete sunken ship near here. So interesting.
