“Enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Excellent meal. Farm to table. They have a great patio in the back where they are also growing some of their own vegetables. Servers were great as were the busboys. Appetizers were excellent. We tried the meatballs, ricotta w/bread, and zucchini chips...all were delicious. Pizzas are very good and so is the mushroom risotto. Definitely recommend this place. Owner came over and spoke to us and really seemed to care about his customers and their experience. Well done! Bravo!

“Something special here ...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

VERY creative menu, wonderfully prepared, beautifully presented and lip-smackingly delicious.

Oh, yeah & they serve pizza too (-;\.
But this ain't your grandma's pizza kitchen.
She wishes she'd thought of these combinations.

Great casual/comfortable atmosphere.
Sit outside if you can, they did a great job landscaping the back.

As far as service, it's simple EVERYONE greets you with a big smile. Servers are very knowledgeable & glad to explain ... Professional & personable sums it up.

Finally, of special note, most of their ingredients are purchased from local vendors. They have a REAL COMMITMENT to supporting local small businesses.

“Dough Artisan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Went to this charming place on a busy Friday night with family and 4 year old. The staff was attentive and friendly. Our waitress took our order and the food was delivered in a timely manner.
Each of the 3 different pizzas and 2 salads were delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the various toppings of our choice were not skimpy. The crust on these individual pies were tasty and cooked to perfection.

No liquor is served but one can bring their own bottle or go across the buy a bottle of wine.

“Not Your Regular Pizza Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

This great little find in Caldwell, NJ had a delicious menu of pizza and other Italian food. It is unlike your regular pizza place, in that this is artisan pizza with a wonderful dough crust and toppings you can choose from to make your own, or order one of their specialties. Cute decor inside, and good, friendly service. Street parking. Only one thing that was a little silly. Instead of giving us all ice, the waitress gave us one full glass of ice and spoon to divide it between four of us. She did this like 3 or 4 times....not sure what that is all about. It certainly won't stop us from visiting again though. Lots of locals there!

“Restaurant review”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

I went there for lunch with my husband, daughter and granddaughter . We ordered a beet salad, a duck wood fired brick oven pizza, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a child's pasta..
The food interesting and delicious. The service was attentive, and the decor was warm and rustic. I highly recommend this new restaurant to everyone.
