We've been to the Shipwreck on several occasions now and have consistently left completely satisfied with our dining experience. This past Sunday we wandered in around 5:30 PM and without a reservation we had our choice of seating. This has not always been the case, particularly in weekend prime time. Dining on the outdoor deck was even available, although we chose a window table in the bar with a view of the river in the distance.
Started with cocktails that were made well to our liking and priced in line for a fine dining establishment. My wife and I split a terrific endive salad which was served as two portions from the kitchen. For this evening's dinner I selected a lobster ravioli with grilled scallops and my spouse the sea bass, both were delectable and served with tasty vegetables. Finishing with a wonderful raspberry cheesecake in a glass that we also shared, we were totally pleased with all our selections as in past visits. Total check, $125. for 3 drinks and all the rest including tax and tip.
Service is always very friendly, prompt and accommodating. Parking is conviently situated at the rear of the restaurant and free which for the shore can be rare.
