“Stop in for a great dinner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Went to The Shipwreck Grill based off of the YELP and TA reviews. Somewhat difficult to find a nice restaurant in the area, but this fits the genre. Nice menu choices, nice inside atmosphere and plenty of parking,

We both ordered the surf and turf, Excellent meat and lobster! Cooked just as specified; Medium and medium well. Lobster bisque and clam chowder were also good as the appetizers.

Friendly staff and excellent service.

The outside does look a little outdated and rustic, but it fits the mold for being on the water in this area IMO.

I believe you can't go wrong choosing The Shipwreck Grill for any occasion. It is a casual dining experience and the prices fit with the entrees that are being served.

Will definitely be going back!

“will definitely be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

I went to this little gem on a Friday night in March. From the outside, it looks like a little shanty near the inlet. However, inside is warm and cozy. It was full of locals in all sorts of attire- from the casual jeans/button down to the suit. It was bustling with activity, the bar was busy, and there was just enough noise for the perfect atmosphere. I went to dinner with my boyfriend and it was both romantic and non-exclusive at the same time. Our waitress was attentive, my golden margarita made perfectly, and the icing on the cake, the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Everything we tried was sinfully amazing. Will 100% be going back as a regular.
Appetizers: Tuna Tartare and Coconut Shrimp... Loved the tuna, coconut was okay
Main courses: Shrimp and Scallop Scampi with goat cheese sweet potato puree and Pistachio crusted grouper with horseradish sauce
Dessert: Cream puff thing with ice cream

“Hit or Miss”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

This place does have potential, but no consistency. Have had the tuna app several times, sometimes great, sometimes a greasy mess. Same for dinner. For their price point they should be consistent and they are not. After giving them about 5 try's we are done.

“Always A Top Spot”

Never disappointed, always a great dining experience. Staff is very friendly and interesting people at the bar. Food is always on the mark. Wine list is just average.

“Always a great meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Only place to go for a consistently good upscale seafood meal. I have been many times and have never had a bad experience. Food is delicious, especially love the appetizer salad with lobster meat. Nice bar area and outdoor seating in the summer. Make reservations in season and on weekends though because it is a popular spot with the regulars and the seasonal crowd. Only negative is the acoustics.. It can get very loud in the restaurant.
