My husband and I have been going to Dublin Square (also "Dubh Linn" Square) since it opened. Having grown up in England, and spent time in Ireland, I can attest that this is the best example of an Irish Pub in the area. The food is consistently good (actually better than most traditional Irish Pubs), and the ever growing beer list is varied and seems to have something different every week. Live music on the weekends and Quiz Night on Wednesday at 9 pm.
I don't really understand some of the negative reviews on TA. Yes, it can get loud, but it's a pub. What do you expect? Although I liked Dublin Square right from the time it opened, I didn't fully understand it's appeal until I started spending time at the bar. Everyone is friendly, from the hostesses and servers to the managers to the food runners (shout out to Michelle, our inside source on the latest and greatest menu items and deserts!), but the bar is where you really get to know the culture of the place. All the bartenders really know their stuff, and since most have been there for quite some time (Trevyn, Ryan, Jay...) they know their customers too and are quick with good suggestions.
