Four of us went to dinner to celebrate quietly a birthday. We ordered our food without any trouble, ordered a bottle of Super Tuscan, which was delicious. I had the seafood stew, it was very tasty, my wife ordered the Branzini, which was also good, one friend ordered a small pizza, and the other had chicken. We shared a pasta order for an appetizer. We all felt that while the food was good, none of the dishes had the pizzazz that we have come to enjoy on other occasions. The mood was also impacted by a pushy waitress. An example of the pushiness was when she poured the wine she filled our four glasses until the bottle was empty, on the first pouring and she asked if we wanted to order another bottle. She did it so fast that none of us had the time react, but it put a damper. She tried to push specific deserts, etc. It ruined the experience!!!
