First - this is now the 3rd attempt to make a restaurant work in this location. New look in spacious room and nicely stocked bar helps ambiance. The manager and staff are generally pleasant enough, the menu has sufficient diversity (Italian) and they will do something off the menu if you ask them to. The food is generally well prepared and served at proper temperature. Prices are fair for what you get and the area the restaurant is in (Bernardsville), but there is one major drawback. The kitchen is open which makes it interesting but also stifling hot and unpleasant in the main restaurant area (the dinning area). As you can imagine some tables are literally next to the kitchen display which makes them just unbearably hot so your meals tend to be rushed just so you can get out of there. Overall a good place to visit but take a table by the door.
