“Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

We all had different dishes: tuna, risotto and ribs and all were very good including the dessert. It's a BYOB which we didn't know but there's a liquor store around the corner so no worries. A little pricey, but worth it.

“Good not great BYOB restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

Service was good, selections were adequate. Wait time with reservation was only 10 minutes. Nice decor, restaurant is noisy and tables are tight. Enjoyed the calamari, delicious and plate was generous. Did not like the bland puree lobster soup with two little chunks of lobster in the middle. Walnut salad was below average. Filet mignon and mashed potatos was delicious and perfectly cooked. Nice portion. The veal chops at the other table looked real tasty and they seem to enjoy it. Would go back again on a saturday night but after 9 pm to avoid crowd and noise. Outdoor dining is available. Byob a big plus.

“good dining experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

This is a place where you should dine; you need to bring your own booze but that tends to be a great advantage because you want wine with their meals.

“Overpriced...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

I don't like paying NYC prices for a place that's BYOB. There are those that love this place. I am just not one of them. Yes they have a prix-fixe menu on certain days of the week but even then, you're still not going to walk out of there for less than $40 a head. I can get much better meals at the beach, including a drink or two, for a lot less money.

“Not worth the money & time….”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

It began with the unmanned hostess counter. After 15 minutes, a waiter noticed that no one was there and seated us. We received our menus and waited another 20 minutes to place our order. Another 20 minutes went by before we received our appetizer, and another 30 minutes before our entree arrived. We were told that our order was right behind the big table. The delays may have been an isolated incident due to the big table, but I’m sure these people had reservations and the restaurant should have made it a point to have enough staff. The $32 plus entrees are outrageous. The food is ok but certainly not worth the price or the time you waste waiting for your meal. Will not return.
