“Our go-to place in the North Country”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2010

Fabulous! Excellent food and awesome beer! Their Raspberry Wheat is to die for, we actually brought home a growler to enjoy at a later date.

Burger with handcut fries was perfect, Chicken Parm was huge and scrumptious, but the stand out was the Salmon Wellington. A huge portion of salmon with roasted red peppers and perfectly cooked asparagus wrapped in puff pastry topped with bearnaise sauce... INCREDIBLE. The garlic mashed potatoes were divine. I would drive up there just for this dish alone! Their spent grain bread is so yummy, we brought home two huge loaves to share with friends!

Extensive kids menu, great portions and good service. We always eat here when we're in the area and have never been disappointed. My daughter even proclaimed "this is the best chocolate milk"!

We plan to visit again soon and maybe even do an overnight stay in one of their pretty rooms. Thanks for the excellent experience! Great job!

“Good food, average beer, and a service that could be improved”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2010

Our dinner (seafood and pastas) was fairly tasty and decently priced. Portions are enormous. Order half portions, unless you're really hungry.

We had a sampler of 5 beers brewed at the inn, and we really enjoyed only one of them. Barman seemed annoyed having to serve a sampler. Since it's the first item on their beer menu, they should expect it.

“This is THE place to stay ... Real New Hampshire hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2010

The inn buildings are unique (there are 5) ... the food and micro-brewery is fantastic ... the free breakfast includes entrees from the entire HUGE menu..... no skimping here!

Amazing.
Lots of free easy parking, easy walk to busy fun Lincoln, easy drive to Clarks Trading Post, hop right over to Franconia Notch --- and having a REAL old time swimming hole right there next to the property is amazing.

Great deck to relax about the sounds of the wild river.

All around a great time.

“We go to Woodstock NH just to eat & sleep here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2010

Excellent Inn (utilizing old houses & rail station) with brewery & 2 restaurants in quaint town with lots to do in the area. Prices are great. Food is excellent. If you stay at the Inn, breakfast is included (anything off the menu!). Returning guests get a discount on their rooms & free drink at the bar. Service is wonderful & so is the food.Every time we go to New England, we spend the first night or two at the Inn because we enjoy it so much. Leisure time is spent enjoying the White Mts, dog sledding, zip lining, sight seeing, etc.
