“Golf Club Setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Good prices for a Golf Club and friendly service. Food is decent and has a good size menu. Many drink specials on deignated nights. Nice views off of the porch section. Great place to have an event.

“A little less than mediocre”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Our family went out to Club 59 and were very disappointed. The food was extremely overpriced and the best thing we were served were the onion rings. My chicken fingers were bland and the consistency of cardboard. If you pay $12 for chicken fingers and they are worse than McDonalds', it is upsetting! The steak tips were approximately 1" square and there were five of them. My husband's "twice stuffed" haddock was stuffed with about three scallops and two shrimp were stuck on top (he said they tasted good, though.) The my in-laws had the "senior" portion of lobster pie, which was about the size of a hamburger and came with only one side - for $15. Seating on the porch was in the glaring sun with no shades, and the next table over cheerfully lit up their cigarettes. ICK! Because no wait staff came by for at least 10 minutes, I suspect they had time to finish them, too! The waitress was nice, though patronizing to my elementary school daughter, but she and two other guys were working the whole floor, so she had little time to spend with us. All in all, give it a MAJOR skip!

“Catering plus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2011

We were looking for a venue to hold our son's wedding rehearsal dinner on Labor Day weekend and settled on Club 59 at the local golf club. While the atmosphere was so-so the food was really quite good and the service good as well. The owner/caterer wad very helpful and the price was reasonable. Considering it was a holiday weekend in a resort we were more than pleased!

“Good value, great lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

The dining room is on the grounds of Kingswood Golf Course. The porch is a great place for lunch - at the turn after 9, after 18 or while just stooping in for lunch. The dining rtoom is more formal but not stuffy. The food is excellent and the value great.
