“Great holiday stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Jon and Susan told us their mission was to make us comfortable. They are true to their words! We stayed for a long weekend leading to New Years. Their warmth and the comfortable accommodations made this trip to Wolfeboro very restful and special. The living room available to guests was perfect for our after activity relaxing and reading. The continental breakfast was excellent. We have already booked for same time next year.

Jon and Susan run a really relaxed B&B. We our 2 nights and the large living room and free wi-Fi big pluses. Hosts were very generous with breakfast and beer and wine provided. Nice spot, nice hosts and an enjoyable area to explore. pretty cold there in October.

Room Tip: A GPS won't find it's way to the door so via left down to the end of the street

Alicia's B&B has 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and is located on a quiet street just outside of downtown Wolfeboro. The two bedrooms are relatively basic but comfortable. What makes Alicia's special is that if you are traveling with another couple or a family you have full use of the spacious living room. It's as if you have a house to yourselves. We were traveling with good friends so really enjoyed having a place to socialize. We checked in to Alicia's after cross country skiing, showered and sat around the living room enjoying beer and wine (complimentary). There are lots of restaurant choices in Wolfeboro, a few minute drive away. There were two options for breakfast. You can have a hot breakfast with eggs etc at 9:00am or a "cold" breakfast with fresh fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, home-backed bread, cereals, juices, etc. etc. There is a toaster, microwave, small fridge, coffee and tea maker, etc. More then enough for us. Jon and Sue are gracious hosts and live in their own private quarters in the back of the house. They are available to chat if you like or pleased to be in the background if you prefer. It's not one of those fancy B&B's, but excellent value and comfort.
