“Breakfast, lunch, dinner & homemade pie!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2012

Grandma's is the kind of place to go when you want a decent home cooked meal and a slice of homemade pie for dessert. If you're visiting from out of town and you want special treatment, this is not the place for you. No liquor license, no credit cards...just good food. We've eaten here many times (including today) and have never had a bad meal or bad service. They have a good selection of specials for all meals and there's always a great list of baked goods....try a grilled muffin at breakfast or a slice of warm pie with ice cream. In the summer the outside area is a nice place to enjoy lunch and some fresh air and check out the horses grazing across the street. Grandma's is a good, reliable place to get a meal.

“an OK bet for your buck add-on”

we also got that "look", almost like a stereotypical old western movie when the "stranger" comes into town. We all laugh about it now but I would not recommend bringing kids to Grandma's Kitchen. Food was bland, hostility was grand!

“Good breakfast with fast service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2011

Ate breakfast here for a change of scene from the Mountain View Grand Hotel (fabulous!). The food and service were what you would expect from a small, independent restaurant- average and acceptable. The locals ignored us but the server was very friendly. The french toast was good and my husband said the eggs, hash and toast were just fine. My only (small) complaint was that they charged $2.00 for real maple syrup for the french toast which is highway robbery- so I didn't get it. Yes, I'd eat here again.

“Small town, country, homey atmosphere and a hearty breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2011

We've been eating at Grandma's for many, many years and it's still the best breakfast in town. The menu is simple with many selections. Yu name it-- if it's breakfast food, it's on the menu. A no-nonsense menu and a no-frills atmosphere-- just down home folks having a typical, all-American, homestyle breakfast. Fresh baked goods and good-sized servings make this a great value. Service is sometimes slower than we'd like but it's acceptable. This is the kind of place that the locals flock to but don't let that put you off-- they'll accept you as one of them.
