“A good dinner place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Service was good as was the food. The owner was friendly and full of stories about the history. They were short some wait staff so the fellow who served us was getting some on the job training...he did well.

“A gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

The Inn at Whitefield served us two absolutely delicious meals. The prime rib was medium rare and wonderful, and the salmon had a glaze that was scrumptious! The owner, Joanne, visited with us for a bit, giving us some tips about what to see in the area. The bar is well stocked, the service was prompt and courteous, and the atmosphere was pure New England. What a find!

“Fabulous Steak and Cheese French Dip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We ate in the Pub with some friends but were also offered the Dining Room menu, which was nice as some in our party ordered from it. I had the Inn Steak and Cheese which was served on a garlic-bread crusty sub roll. It was a classic french dip, sliced prime rib, topped with caramalized onions and mozzarella cheese with au jus on the side. It came with hand-cut french fries (I substitued a side salad which was nice and fresh). The sub was juicy, flavorful, and plentiful. Although $12 is considered high for a sub, I felt the amount of prime rib served in the sub warranted the price.

“Great food and service”

The service was outstanding and the food was great. Not a huge selection, but still a must. The atmosphere was pleasant. The candied bacon fries are a must!

“A Wicked Good Place to Eat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

We have driven by " The Inn at Whitefield " many times but never stopped in. After stopping in on New Years Eve I can't for the life of me figure out why we waited so long.

The owner, Joanne and her son, Joe are some of the friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They made us feel welcome in a room full of strangers. Before the night was over we had some of the most amazing food and absolutely delicious drinks and we knew that we would definitely be back.

We travel quite a bit and we have eaten at all types of places but I honestly think that this place is one of the best. The food was amazing, the prices were very reasonable and the portions were plentiful.

We definitely will never pass by this place again!!!
