I recently stayed at Proctors with my two children and my sister and her two children. We stayed in cottage #11 which was down the quieter side of their property and loved it. Our children spent days in the water; swiming, using their paddle boat, playing ping-pong, digging in the sand, jumping from the raft, and fishing. It was a great family vacation!! The adirondack chairs, grill and picnic table were a delight to have.
On the other side (albeit not negative) was the amount of sand that was tracked into the cottage. The broom that was in the cottage didn't do a sufficient job sweeping it up, so on one of our trips to the store we picked up another broom (which was left behind for the cottage - which the owner noticed and thanked us for and mentioned they will get new brooms for all cottages). Another note, as it got closer to July 4th weekend the facility next door had bands playing and a lot of boat traffic - ? boat/beach bar - but would these two things keep me from not going back - NEVER!!
There was far too many good times that outweighed the bad. See you next year!!
