It was a little further than I thought from Boston. It took about two hours and twenty minutes vs an on par resort size wise of Mt. Sunapee. In the future, will probably go to Sunapee for the distance. Killington is a slightly longer drive and has much more terrain to chose from. That being said, if I had a young family, like Sunapee this is a great choice for a small mountain with diverse terrain for all levels of skiing. Has some expert trails but not super challenging but challenging enough. The staff are friendly, the equipment rental is of high quality. I wish many ski areas adopted the European model for getting on lift with gates that had RFID and just open up as you go through. This individual checking of tickets at each run here and many mountains is a royal pain in the neck. They make adequate snow and are making snow on more runs and today's natural snow will be a boon for all in New England.
