“Breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

Why is it that "breakfast" restaurants cannot make decent home fries. This restaurant, like many others, uses frozen, diced potato's that are just slapped on the grille and fried. No taste, poor texture...unremarkable!!! At recent first-time visit I asked for scrambled eggs...NOT OVERCOOKED. What I got was OVER COOKED scrambled eggs, poor home fries, canned corned beef hash, good home-made toast, and coffee. Wife had much the same. Bill came to $18 and change. Left $20 bill and will probably not come back again. Question: Why does breakfast, the cheapest meal for a restaurant to prepare, cost $20 BUCKS for two people? Now costs far too much to eat breakfast out. McDonalds here I come.

“One of my favorite breakfast spots!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

You can always count on a great breakfast! Many good choices that are very generously portioned. Fresh baked goods too. They offer lunch as well, but I always go for breakfast.

“Home Cooking!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Looking for a place to eat either breakfast or lunch, this is the place. The week ends are always busy with locals knowing it is one of the best places to have a hearty meal. Home made toast that melts in your mouth, pastries, french toast . . .. anything you want the way "mom" used to make. Friendly atmosphere, small but accommodating. Cash only which can be a problem in our plastic society. Good choice to get your engines running the first thing in the morning and tie you over through lunch!

“Best Breakfast around!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

Can't say enough about the breakfast here...homemade toast, great homefries (get them with grilled onions on top), awesome omelets and scrambles, really good eggs benedict. Cash only, so be prepared! You will have to wait a little bit for a table, but it is worth it!

“Good Food...Cash Only”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

This is always a decent breakfast restaurant, but be prepared to potentially wait in a long line on the weekend. The food is good, with large portions. This is a cash only establishment. It does kind of have that greasy spoon feel, but for an inpromptu breakfast out, it works!
