This was my first experience staying at a bed and breakfast and I really loved it. Mt. Washington B&B was cozy, inviting and authentic New England.
The Inn Keeper, Mary Ann, was very welcoming and accommodating. She gave us a tour, introduced us with some of the local attractions and then let us settle in. The next morning her and her niece set us up with a fantastic breakfast, raspberry and lemon pancakes with your choice of breakfast meat.
The room was a nice size as was the bathroom. The bed was fantastically comfortable. I don't think ive slept as soundly as I did here, in months. I was out like a light with no tossing and turning as usually happens in hotels.
The location was the best part. It was right outside of Gorham so as to still have a country feel, but not so far that it was a pain to run into town.
I really enjoyed my stay at Mt. Washington B&B. If you are looking for a vacation that feels like your at a home away from home, I recommend staying here. Sometimes it is nice to feel like you are on vacation... aka.. you want a hotel with a pool and restaurant etc.... but for a different vacation feel, try a B&B.
