“Worth Every Penny”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2009

My family and I stayed there for the 4th of july weekend and had a great time. This is a great place to stay with kids and only about 12mins away from Hampton Beach. They have alot for the kids to do. They have 3pools, 1 has a waterslide but I have to say that the pools are NOT heated like they say it is! They also have a petting zoo, mini ferris wheel, train rides, power bikes ,fun slides/bouncers and pony rides. Other then the pool not being heated this is a great place to stay, worth every penny!! We will be going back again next year! I would recommend to all my friends and familys.

My reasons for staying were more the result of being in between leases on apartments and moving my vacation to the same week. Therefore, I decided to take a trip down the Seacoast and stay at this place, since it seemed to have the best rates I could find at the time.

It's nowhere near a flashy property, pretty much just the basics and that's all. All I really needed was a motel near the Turnpike and Rt. 1 and this fit the bill. The rooms weren't dirty by any stretch, though the laundry room looked a bit sketchy. I'll also say the large parking lot is a bit different since there seems to a bit more 18-wheeler parking available than in most places, but it didn't affect parking near my room, so I was fine with it.

All in all, if you're in the area for a brief time and need a cheap and reasonably clean place to stay, this place is for you.

online reviews sounded pretty grim, however the price was right for a quick weekend to the coast. surprisingly clean, comfortable and accessible to all local (coastal) destinations.

Thsi hotel was a perfect location for our family. We were going to the beach and couldn't find a good hotel right in Hampton so we settled for a Best Western. It was a fun hotel for the kids because of the pool, water slide, petting zoo, blow up things....The rooms were a good size. We liked the way the sink was in a different room from the toilet and shower. It gave more room because our son could take a shower without our daughter looking. The staff was excellent telling us which restaurants to try. We tried the Irish Pub across the street and the restaurant was excellent. The food, waiters and everything. You really have to try it!!!! I sugest this hotel for familes with young kids more!

This is a lovely little place. The staff are all very friendly, there is 24hr security that walk around. Very kid friendly. In season they have TONS of activities, animals, and little rides to keep the kids occupied. There is an arcade and a small petting zoo there with horses, deer, rabbits, a monkey, birds, sheep, donkeys and goats. In season of course, but there is also jump houses and a little train that will take the kids for a ride. There are plenty of speed bumps when all of this is in season, otherwise they are taken up because of snow plowing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and worth every penny. As far as everyone talking about the truck drivers, we have frequented this hotel quite often and dont see it as a truck stop. ABF has a contract with this hotel, but they usually never have trailers on the trucks. There is plenty of parking, too. This isnt a "hang out" as Ive heard people call it for truckers. But either way my fiance and I have talked to a few drivers and they are nice people and keep to themselves. The breakfast is a nice selection, though the breakfast room is kinda small it is very homey and comforting. We'll be back!

  • Liked — Kidfriendly, restaraunt/bar right next door.

We usually do not stay at this hotel when we visit the area, however, this was the only hotel in the area with a vacancy.
Now we know why. The bathroom floor was dirty, there were only one hand towel, and when we arrived the room was at 60 degrees. We tried turning up the heat and the room would not warm up. We discovered the reason for this to be a large gap between the door and the door frame, which had cold air blowing in around the door. We finally took a bath towel and plastic dry cleaner bags and shoved around the door. The woman at the desk was surly ,and as soon as possible we checked out and moved on. The hotel needs a complete remodel.
We will never stay at this location again. Do yourself a favor and never stay there, especially in room 227.

We stayed here for one night on our way to another vacation destination. This is definitely a cool place to come for a two night stay. There is so much to do for younger children (ages 3-10). The pools were great, they have a cool water slide, bouncy houses, Airbrush tatoos, train rides, pony rides and a ferris wheel. They have what the call a "petting zoo," but that was very disappointing. every animal had signs up that said "animals may bite." They should not advertise it as a petting zoo if you can't touch them. They have a consession stand for a snack or light lunch. They offer free breakfast in the morning. Our room was clean, had brand new carpets and a big flat screen TV. This hotel was definitely a great value for the price. It's close to I-95 and plenty of restaurants within a five minute drive. I would difinitely come again!
