“Fresh food right off the farm!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

I have to say this was the best breakfast I have ever had in a restaurant!
It doesn't get any fresher than the hens laying eggs out in the back yard, maple syrup made in the barn and farm animals. We came in to the rustic wood house and sat down in what felt like home. The "juice" guy behind the bar served us fresh, hot coffee and the smells coming from the kitchen were wonderful. He was very friendly and visited with us while doing his work.
The pancakes were amazing. I had light buckwheat and my mother had blueberry. Her pancakes were loaded with fresh blueberries and the real butter with farm fresh maple syrup...wow!
We went out back after breakfast to see the animals and were able to feed them. Adorable!

“A Breakfast Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

We enjoyed the most wonderful farm-fresh breakfast at the Pancake House. It was like sitting in the owner's personal kitchen while they "crafted" pancakes from about 15-20 flavor choices along with syrup, eggs, bacon and potatoes from the farm. It was an experience, so if you are expecting a quick 10 minute restaurant turn-around you are missing my point. You'll have to peek in the barn where they make their own maple syrup and see the many animals out back. This would be a great place for kids! The meals are large and so is the hospitality! We were so glad to find this place up on the hill in Sanbornton!!!
