“Authentic Mediterreanean Food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

This is a Mom and Pop restaurant. They serve Lebanese and Mediterranean food. I had lamb and truly enjoyed it. The service was very attentive. The restaurant is little run down and could use a makeover.

“Good Mediterranean food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013 via mobile

I had lamb. It was very good however it was previously frozen which made not as tender as it should be. Wonderful service. Could use a building makeover!

“Huge portions!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Quantity does not equal quality. Portions are huge!!!!

Tuesday - Thursday Jocelyn's offer a fixed price menu - dinner for 2 for $40 that consists of one shared appetizer (hummus, taboule or babbah ganough), a choice of salad each (garden, Caesar, or Lebanese), a choice of entrée each, a glass of wine each or dessert.

They start you with a nice basket of fresh pita bread and butter. For an appetizer, we chose to start with hummus that was plentiful, tasty and went well with the pita bread. There was enough hummus and pita left over that I brought them home for lunch the next day.

The only difference between the garden salad and the Lebanese salad was the salad dressing. The Lebanese lemon-mint salad dressing was thin and disappointing. My husband rates the raspberry vinaigrette dressing as just OK. The salad was just iceburg/butter lettuce, a miniscule bit of onion, cucumber, and a portion of tomato...nothing special.

For the entrée, we both chose the kibbe that one plate instead of feeding one person could quite easily have fed 2 or 3. The kibbe was dry and needed more seasoning. The rice pilaf would have fed 4 easily and was nothing special. The mashed potatoes would have fed 2 easily. The vegetables were sautéed peppers, onions, and tomato that was quite good.

The wine that was offered was either a Mark West Pinot Noir or a house merlot. The house merlot (I didn't ask which vintner) was rather good.

Our server, Erica, was attentive and helpful.

If you're hungry and want something a bit different to eat, try Jocelyn's. If you equate huge portions with quality, then this is your place.

Would we go back? Possibly, but try something else.

“Amazing food and good quantity at a very reasonable price!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

I visited this place several times before gave it a review, and not once I've been disappointed. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. At one time a brought a friend whose family is from Lebanon, and he told me that the food had a real "home taste".

The service staff is also very pleasant, and the atmosphere is inviting. They even have a lounge with great martinis. My wife and I went once after a nice dinner for a couple of drinks.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place with Mediterranean food!!!

“Tremendous Amount of Food At Great Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Great assortment of Lebanese dishes! I was a little overwhelmed by the menu, and almost went with the platter that had several different entrees. I ended up getting the stuffed cabbage rolls, and it was delicious. They give you a lot of food: salad, 2 sides and then a huge entree. My friend got the falafel plate and really enjoyed it. We took left-overs home and ate it the next day. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. The prices were good, especially for the amount of food that you got. We tried a slice of the lemon cake for dessert and it was very rich and delicious. I would definitely return again!
