“New Hampshire Breakfast Delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

We were traveling to Maine, and a helpful person at the New Hampshire Liquor Store directed us to the Roundabout Diner for a Sunday morning breakfast. It's convenient on & off 95, and what a delightful place! It's popular, so you can expect a short wait, but it's worth it. They offer a "Make Your Own Bloody Mary" bar - see the photo I attached - as well as a full bar, but the food is the main attraction. My wife enjoyed a delicious Bloody Mary with her Eggs & Corned Beef Hash, and she pronounced the hash to be excellent. I devoured the Big Breakfast: 3 pancakes, 2 eggs and a side of sausage. The pancakes were terrific - moist and light - the eggs cooked to order, and the sausage good, but not great. The Breakfast Bowls looked delicious, as did the numerous Benedict offerings. The crowd looked like a lot of regulars, who know a good breakfast when they eat it. I'm willing to bet that this diner offers excellent options for every meal!

“Great Breakfast Spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Second to Friendly Toast, this is one of the best breakfast spots in Portsmouth. We were staying at the hotel attached to the diner and it was extremely convenient. We waited for a few minutes for a table on a Sunday morning, larger parties waited longer but they have a lot of table and seemed to cycle through people quickly enough. Worth the wait - they have a good menu and even some gluten free options and a make your own bloody mary bar. Great greasy spoon option!

“Breakfast was better than supper”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Tasty coffee, delicious veggie/cheese omelet, the maple syrup on my girlfriend's pancakes was a highlight. They were happy to substitute fresh fruit for the potatoes. Wait staff work hard and are very pleasant.

“Didn't care for the place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Service was somewhat indifferent, the server didn't offer to warm up my coffee. Hardly any butter on toast. Fruit cup was mostly two kinds of melon. Glad I didn't order home fires as I tried a couple of my wife's, they were lousy.

We won't be stopping there again.
