Description: George's Seafood is best known for many years of dining service to the greater Plymouth, NH area. Although we specialize in seafood, we also have have one of the best steaks in the area and customers love pairing our steak tips with a seafood item for a delightful Surf & Turf combo. We have our own smoker so pulled pork and rib entrees fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. Enjoy!

“Excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

George's fish dishes are excellent, especially the Haddock. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity you receive. Atmosphere is like an old-fashioned drive-in restaurant; not intimate, extremely casual. We do take-out sometimes so we can enjoy at home in a more relaxed atmosphere. George's gets very busy in the summer but its understandable because the food is so good. We've never had a bad meal at George's and have eaten there (or done the take-out) several times. Very reliable quality and quantity.

“"Not really all you can eat|"”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2012

I called several times to make sure that what I read in the local paper was correct. After 3 confirmations the restaurant confirmed that it was "All you can eat ribs night" So I summoned some friends for a great night that turned out to be not so great. First of all it was supposed to start at 5:30 to 8:00 accordinging to the restaurant and the local ad. When we arrived we were told that it would be about a 1 hour delay on the ribs. Not a great start. We had our first order of ribs that were just O.K. But we needed some more, then we were told that they had ran out. We were never offered any other speacials. I e-mailed the owner telling him of my displeasure with the expierence and was told quite rudely "Dont come back again" which we surely have'nt. What a dissapointment. And he also said that in the ad, it clearly states "while it lasts" , but only 15 minutes??

“"Not worth the drive"”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2012

Very dissapointing. Ran out of the "Famous" all you can eat special after 20 minutes. I guess that's what they mean by "while it lasts". Needs a little remodeling. Definitely not worth the drive.

“Nothing Special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2012

Went here for dinner because of resort recommendation. Interior is tired. Service was friendly but very slow. Food was okay but nothing special. Had a seafood casserole that was slightly overcooked. The shrimp in particular was chewy. It came with salad and two sides. The sides were baked potato, slaw, carrots, rice, BBQ beans or fries. Got the baked potato (ok)and beans since I didn't want another salad (slaw) or starch. They tasted like Bush's (canned). Wife had the scallops which were also overdone. Had a coupon which the resort gave for 10% off. The server did not know how to take it off so Ihad to go to the manager who was glad to help. Again, okay but nothing special.

The place itself is nothing fancy but the food is always good, service is always good and prices are reasonable.
