Description: The Italian Farmhouse in Plymouth, N.H. is a proud member of the Common Man family, and serves delicious Italian food in a quaint farmhouse with spectacular views of 42 acres of surrounding land. Specializing in American-Italian fare, start off your meal with a selection from our antipasti menu, such as Fresh Mussels or Fried Calamari. Try our Antipasto or Verde Salad in between courses, and then delve into one of our hearty main dishes, like Farmhouse Scampi or Cioppino.

“Casual dining done right”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

The Italian Farmhouse was a pleasant surprise. Its casual dining done right with good Italian food.

We arrived just as the restaurant was opening for the evening and were warmly greeted and shown to a comfortable table. The main dining room is in a wonderful old restored barn with a country Italian decor. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu and evening specials.

All three of us enjoyed our meals, which were tasty with a nice presentation. The garlic bread bar was a nice added touch.

The menu is varied, yet not an encyclopedia, and all is well priced.

We will be back!

“Great French food at Italian Farmhouse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

Only partly kidding. Had "Moules Frites" last night. In French, mussels and French fries. Kidding aside, the Farmhouse has the best mussels ... well, anywhere that I've eaten. I decided to try their Tuscan fries with the mussels for an entrée. Fantastic! One of the best meals I've had anywhere. Great atmosphere as well. If you're in the Lakes Region, you must go there. When you're there, tell Dennis that he's a great French and Italian chef.

“Farmhouse or not This is Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

This is another restaurant in the dynasty of the Common Man. Ate here twice. One time for Pizza and one time for a meal. Mixed feelings about the pizza. The sauce and toppings were delicious I liked that the sausage was of the mild Italian kind. The crust was think and light, but a little tasteless. The second time we shared a meal of very fresh and tasty salad with cannenoli beans, and a great house dressing. We also shared linguini and mild Italian sausage with tomato sauce. Fresh parmesan cheese grated on top. Very nice. We were both satisfied with our meal. As with all of their restaurant, there is a help your self bar which here was crusty Italian bread with infused olive oils. Very good.

“up and down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

The last about 1/2 an hour to be waited on. The green salad is good some of the time. The calamari is usually good. This restaurant has had its better days.
