“Out in the middle of nowhere, which”

is kind of cool about the area. It also has you going by Beaver Falls (depending on your route), and yes, Beaver Falls is a must stop.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

Great place to Kayak! Sadly we didn't have as much luck fishing these lakes but we did have an amazing time taking the kayaks out that we rented from Lopstick.

“Beautiful Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

For some great photos, get up early and photograph the fog rising off the Lakes. Rt. 3 is miles upon miles of wilderness. Quiet and serene.

“not for sissies”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

go back to the 1950's in Pittsburgh in Conn Lakes Region. you will use pay phones and buy canned veggies in the store. the wildness of Pittsburgh is what makes it great! outdoors , outdoors and outdoors. and some of the best star fileds in the USA at night. lodging from rustic to a good bit better. sissies need not apply though...

“Natures Beauty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

If you want to enjoy nature in all its glory, the CT Lakes Region is the place to go. From all the lakes, rivers, streams and endless back roads. From fishing, hiking, mt. biking, atv/snowmobile trails. This is area is remote, but most beautiful.
