“Great Brew Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

We came here twice mainly for drinks after a busy day of sightseeing. Great Beer selection and really good pours for cocktails. The place was always packed at night and we would have come three times but one night we just could not get near the bar. On our second visit we ordered drinks and potato skins to go. These were the best potato skins I have ever had and a huge portion. The bartenders were always friendly and attentive. All the food we saw coming out to other patrons looked fresh and smelled great. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals as much as we enjoyed our "to go" order.

“Vast improvment of the interior!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We go here a few times of year (mostly ski season) to hang out, drink, and dance. The decor has always been an eyesore, especially the wallpaper. I LOVE all the trinkets true to NH (ski lift, trains, old signs, etc) that are peppered around the place, but overall it needed an overhaul to update the place. They did a great job with the renovations and addition (not all open yet)...the place is so much cleaner looking and not as cramped feeling as before. Although I still expect a packed place this winter, it's a vast improvement aesthetically, which is great for us flatlanders. I wish the staff was a bit friendlier to the out-of-towners, but I understand where they are coming from. Neverthelesss, we'll be here a lot this winter.

“Food was good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

The food here was good. Our server was good and friendly. We sat next to a window with nice view of the mountains. Parking was an issue, although it was very busy.

“Great choice and huge portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

We ate in here three nights running so the food must have been good. The dining room could do with a bit of a freshen up - the carpet is really grubby - but the food more than makes up for it. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was tasty and massive. I don't think my husband will ever stop talking about the size and quality of his burger and their root beer (brewed on the premises) is unbelievably good.
