“Great Food, Home Brewed Beer- Service, well that's not their selling point!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2011

The food here is great. We've eaten here several times throughout the years as we are frequent travelers in the area and the choice of restaurants is rather meagre. This pub style inn is unique in decor and ambiance and offers a live band a few nights in the week. Styled as an old type of rail station, it makes for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy some good food. Food portions are above average and inexpensive. Clean washrooms as well as the dining areas, though if you eat later in the evening, the floor gets messy.
Everyone seems to eat at around 6pm, so arrive later or earlier and avoid the wait lines. Get a free membership card and earn rebates. You also bypass the wait lines with it! Preferred entry. This is good if you come here often, otherwise useless.
Try the beer which is brewed on site. They offer a great variety which makes it worth the detour. Samplers are also available allowing you to try a little of everything, in smaller portions.

The service- NOT their strong point. I would say one out of every four waiters-waitresses is competent. The last guy we had was utterly useless. Couldn't describe what was available for the evening special, didn't know what brews were in season, lacked personality, didn't follow up after serving the meal to see if all was ok. Disinterested.
We noticed another server adjacent to our section and he offered out of the ordinary service! He had personality and customer service skills. Had we had him, his tip would have been in accordance with the above average service!

“Grerat Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2011

We were vacationing in the White Mountains and visiting with our son and his girlfriend who live in Maine. We found this restaurant and we all really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great. We sat out on the patio. Great Weather. The Menu had plenty of options and and my husband and son enjoyed the brewery options. We would definitely go back if ever in area again.

“Noisy but great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2011

We've been going here for years, well before the micro-brew craze, and the beer here is not to missed. Grab a growler for home. Food is more than adequate, but this is a place much more known for its bar than cuisine. On weekends, the wait is long and the dining rooms are loud. Not a great fit for families with small kids (but it is certainly family friendly)

“All Aboard”

Excellent in every way: ambiance, service, decor, food (choice, quality, and price). This is a "feel good" place and if we are ever in the area again we will return.

“Best Beer and Burgerse in NH”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

We absolutely LOVE Woodstock Inn. To the point that we will randomly talk about how good it is, months after a trip here. Best burgerse and beers around. In the Summer the patio is beautiful and the waitstaff couldn't be friendlier!
