“Great family hotel ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2014

We stayed two nights and had a great time. The breakfast is convenient especially if you are going skiing. The hotel offers discount ski tickets - saving time and money - I tried to reach the desk a few times in advance of our stay but was unable to reach anyone who could tell me the prices. I sent an email to an address I found online and was able to get the prices - the manager offered me two promotional tickets to Attitash. Wahoo. The movie room in the basement is great - the leather couches are so great. We used a white noise app at night which was good as we could hear our neighbors at times thru the adjoining door. The kids had a great time in the pool - and the adults visited the hot tub outside. The outside pool had some kids in it but it was too cold for us. The towels were being continuously replenished. There is no - no food rule around the pool - we snacked carefully - but others left crumbs which were gross as they got wet.
Very good location.

The night desk clerks were friendly, professional, and helpful. The spacious lobby has large stuffed animals (Conway Black Bear, Monty Moose, a beaver, and two wolves that make great conversational pieces or photo opps). A large sitting area with a fireplace offers guests a place to relax and enjoy the ambience. There are pools, a fitness center, and a hot tub. Our top floor standard room (#434) has two queen beds, a mini fridge, microwave, a 37" flat-screen TV with DVD player, and a room safe. The view from our room is a huge pond with a water fountain. We liked the hotel enough to stay a second night.

My sister and I went to this hotel in February and once again it was so fun! We went early and they got a top floor room ready for us in the late morning! The front desk people are so nice and never have an attitude! One of the girls was soooo nice to us that we bought her a pair of sterling earrings at one of our favorite stores "cool jewels". She was so shocked, I thought she was going to cry. They are top of the line with this hotel. I would recommend this to anyone. The hot tub is to die for and the pool is excellent! (They have 2 pools and 2 hot tubs). We are going back in May for another girls weekend away!!!!!!!

Room Tip: We like the top floor overlooking settlers green and the mountains.

We have been staying at this Hotel for the past few years every time we visit the White Mountains,NH. We love it, the staff are very friendly, the place is so clean, location is fantastic and rates are excellent. Would highly recommend a stay at the North Conway Grand Hotel. Family orientated, which is great as we have a 2 yr old and there is so much to do within the hotel.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms have best views.

This was a first for us, and won't be our last. The room was excellent, the personnel is so courteous, and we loved the pools.
Being welcomed with hot beverages was also a nice surprize considering the freezing temperatures.

Room Tip: We had a room with a view on the surrounding mountains, which was a nice sight.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and what a fab time we had. The hotel is very very nice, the beds are the comfiest hotel beds we have slept in and the staff are so friendly. The breakfast was good with plenty of hot food to choose from. Even though it was below zero at night we so enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. We are definitely going back to this hotel.

This was our fourth stay at the grand and we have to say it is getting a little jaded.
Our stay coincided with the end of the NH half term holidays, so we knew it was going to be busy and it was. Arriving at North Conway at around 10.30pm the hotel was still choc-a-bloc with kids marauding between the main lobby and the swimming pool and when we were allocated our room we discovered that it was on the corridor between the two. We asked Aubrey, one of the main reception supervisors if there was anything else and she told us no, not until Saturday - this was Thursday! We were so exhausted that we went to the room and slept though the noise. The next day - Friday - and after a morning out and about we approached Alex on reception and asked if there was another room firstly because of the noise and secondly because it was the handicapped room and only had a wheel in shower! Unlike Aubrey, Alex couldn't do enough for us and bent over backwards to find us a room, shuffling rooms around and finding us one on the second floor at the end of the corridor. Thanks Alex, you are a star. The rest of the stay was uneventful. Breakfasts were good as ever if busy, and the waiting staff deserve praise for coping with the demands of some of the other guests.
We would stay again, because it's so convenient for Settlers Green and is walkable to a range of fab restaurants, however we would definitely try and avoid a holiday week!
