We stayed here the week before President's week. It was fairly quiet in North Conway, but busy enough to have a lovely atmosphere. The Hampton Inn is obviously new, and is in immaculate condition. We had two king suites next door to each other, for us and our 3 children. Unfortunately the rooms were not interconnecting, but this was only a small drawback. (Apparently other types of rooms can be interconnecting) The king suites are spacious and comfortable, perfect really. Rooms have a fridge and microwave, which are welcome additions to a hotel room. Some cutlery and crockery would have been useful. Not important, but no popcorn for the microwave.
The water was always piping hot for a relaxing bath, but what's with the teeny towels? Bath sheets in the UK must be 3 times the size!
The children loved the waterpark, but please note there is no pool other than the splashdown area and a very shallow pool for toddlers and very young children
Breakfast was fairly basic, adequate but we would have liked a waffle maker. Coffee was available all day, and there were warm cookies every afternoon.
The hotel is a couple of miles from the village centre, but within walking distance of the outlet shopping and a number of restaurants.
One word of caution, my daughter slipped and banged her head very hard coming out of the waterpark. The polished tiles in the pool area don't seem appropriate for wet feet. Hopefully the hotel will have put some mats down following my daughters tumble.
If I could give 4.5 I would. A five needs a better pool, a better breakfast, and crockery/cutlery in the room, but we had a great time here and would stay again.
