My family and I reserved for the first time for Thanksgiving dinner. After so many years of preparing the feast, we opted to "dine out". Originally we had selected another venue, but heard the former chef of Christmas Farm Inn had moved on to the Stonehurst. We quickly called and made our reservations. We arrived promptly for our 4:00 PM appointment and were immediately brought into the dining room for dinner. I could not believe on a busy day that they were running right on time. The room was absolutley beautiful and packed! Our waiters name was Ian, a professional server through and through. He was not only personable, but knowledgable as well of the menu, the drinks and wine. The meal from start to finish was amazing, I do not need to say anymore than that! I chose to break tradition and had the cedar plank smoked salmon, it melted in my mouth. All around the table my family raved. My young nephew had a special request for a turkey leg, Ian showed up with one the size of his arm. It will take him several days to try and finish the leftovers.
So, if you want a great dinner with amazing service, disregard any negative reviews and call them quickly. Made sure you ask for Ian!
