it is a real stone manor. an impressive quaint inn with world class home cooking. i realize that "impressive" "quaint" and "world class" "home cooking" should not be in the same sentence but there you have it. wonderful ambience, great service, and a two for one thursday evenings. my wife loves the cedar plank salmon and the lamb shank is unbeatable

“Breakfast”

Met family here for breakfast and it is an amazing place. Beautiful furnishings and woodwork with an exceptional view. Food selection is limited but wonderful. I had cranberry french toast and it was outstanding. A must.

“Wonderfully Romantic Setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

My girlfriend, Dee, and I decided to celebrate our one-year anniversary by dining at the Stonehurst Manor. When we pulled up to the manor, we were in awe of the great view it had. It was a Friday, we recommend making reservations; we didn't and we had about a 20 minute wait. However, while we sat at the bar, it gave us a great opportunity to admire the unbelievably beautiful architecture... what a great romantic setting, right down to the crackling fireplace. The food was terrific! I had the haddock stuffed with lobster stuffing while she had the rosemary lamb. It was delicious! The service was excellent and we had a bonus... the server was so nice and funny... she made our night extra fun. Hi, Donna! We look forward seeing you next time we come in. When we make reservations, we'll request you.

“Excellent food best in North Conway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Thursday nite you get two entrees for $27 that is a steal! They do not compromise their quality either. I love the French onion soup it has 4 different kinds of onions. The open face Wellington is cooked over a wood fire and you taste the wood...it is amazing. I had blue cheese in a basmati rice. There is a deal where you stay and have your meals included...we are going to have to do that since we also take out the stone fired pizzas from here...YUMMMM. George has liked the Beggar's Pouchs (lobster in pasta) when we have dined here on other occasions. This time we dined with Allan and he had the night's special, I believe it was Spiced Pork Medallions; he said it was very tender and delicious. His comment about StoneHurst "I find the Stonehurst is always consistant" that is very important in resturants and I can say all the times I have been there I have never been disappointed. They make you turn off your cell phone before entering the dining room...I think that's classy! Also a little secret their house wine is from a small California vineyard in the Napa Valley on the Russian River (the Pinot Noir)
