“What In The World Happened to This Place?”

This used to be THE italian restaurant to dine in at North Conway.

Service was horribly slow the night we were there and the restaurant was not even very busy. It took forever for someone to come just to take a drink order. We then had to ask for bread and ages passed before we got around to ordering the dinner.

My spaghetti and meatball was fine. How can anyone botch a spaghetti and meatball?

My wife's Fettucini Alfredo was underdone and had to be sent back! Who want's chewy fettucini??

The slow service and botched fettucini ruined the whole experience.

Ever since Bellini's moved from North Conway to the route 16 strip the service and food has gone way down hill. Lasagna is the worst I've ever eaten. i won't be returning.

EVERY time we go to North Conway we stop in at Bellini's! The service is wonderful! This is a BUSY restaurant for a reason.......the food is authentic and always soooooo generous with the portions. Bring a cooler for leftovers, because you will have them! The new location is goreous, from the brick pizza oven and the marble gelato bar.........yummmm gelato!

I have yet to see a slow night as locals and tourists alike flock there. You cannot do bettter than this place. They don't take reservations so there may be a wait......sit in the bar and have one of their specialty martinis while you wait and chat up some new friends! It's worth the wait!

The salad is great as is the bread. Nightly specials are well thought out and appetizing......
Great job Bellini's!!!!!

Bellini's::: What a treat...! Our family's visit to North Conway over Christmas vacation week was fun. We found Bellini's by word of mouth we had some reservations when we walked in I thought are we under dressed and we had children..? But the Hostess welcomed us with open arms not to mention they made our children feel right at home.. What a beautiful place.. while we entered and walked to our table it seemed as if we were in Rome...! What a stunning place..Right here in North Conway, the decor was that of the city , but did the food and service match the Decor..? Was it going to be exspensive..? The Bottom line..! It was probibly one of the best Dining experiences ever..! The Homemade Italian Breads The Huge Salad with what had to be the most delicious Salad dressings I have ever had.. We bought a pint to take home.. The Kid's had Bambino Pizza and Ravioli and Meat Ball they ate most but wanted to save room for some of the homemade Gelato they saw displayed while walking thru the Cafe.. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals And wine Our server suggested a bottle of Borolo nice choice. I had a low Carb Vegtable Salmon sizziling platter My husband had a delicious Sirloin Steak with mixed vegtables in a marsala wine sauce with a side of Pasta the sauce on the pasta was so good he asked for an extra side just to dip his bread in.. He is Italian . And that has always been a tradition to clean the sauce in the plate with the bread nothing goes to waste with him.. We finished the meal with what was the most delicious Gelato we have ever had and we've both been to Italy. Our Server told us that Chef Vito makes it fresh everyday. We also had A cannoli it was not to sweet and was very good you could tell they make them homemade along with the tiramisu piled high we have never seen this before usualy when you have that for dessert it is a small peice. The next time we are at Bellini's we will only order one dessert. The portion sizes of our meals were pretty big... Our Over all experience was Great and the Food excellentand definitely Authentic Italian..! We were suprised when we got the check not expensive at all for the quality and portion size.We thought it would have been much more, like other higher end restaurants that are compareable to Bellini's in the city we frequent .. We can't wait for our next trip to the white Mountains. Bellini's will be on the agenda .. Great job Bellini's.. See you the next time were in town. PS: Mt. Cramore has to be one of the Best Family ski resorts in the North East We loved the tubing park..!

“Service.. terrible Owners worse don't eat here you have been warned!”

Bellini's Restaurant

After waiting an hour to get seated and then another hour to get our food, the food was terrible the service was rude and the woman owner needs to find a new career that doens't involve working with the public. She should be ashamed of her behavior. You should know that screaming in the middle of a busy restaurant, at customers, infront of other patrons isn't really a good business decision. Let me tell you nobody was impressed with her side show act. We could hear comments like how rude she was and she's the owner?

The tomato sauce tastes like Campbells tomato soup right out of the can. We ordered the lamb that was over cooked. We sent it back and the waitress came back to the table and told us that there were 2 chops that weren't over cooked... Well, it was, we ordered it MR and the 2 chops were med at best while the rest was charred. For $30 we wanted the whole thing to be MR. The Bracciole was tougher than shoe leather. We even let the people at the table next us try it and they agreed. They were also horrified with the treatment we were given by both the server and the owner. The server was rude and while we were deciding on a second entree she came to the table and told us she will charge us $5 if we didn't order another entree. We originally wanted the Lobster Ravioli, but the women at the table next to us told us it wasn't that good. We asked the server to bring the lamb while we were deciding on a second entree but she did not which resulted in both meals being overcooked. She was more worried about getting the extra $5.

We are making it our mission to tell everyone we can how aweful of an experience we had at this restaurant. We went there with the full intention of having a nice dinner and they ruined our whole experience. I was reluctant to go there because I had already read a bad review on-line about this establishment, but decided to give it a try inspite of it. They ruined our food, our night out and our whole experience. We are not difficult people and we are both servers in family owned Italian restaurants so we are sensitive to the business and are quite forgiving, but this treatment could not be overlooked.

We also found that the staff and the people in town aren't really that fond of the owners or the food. Just to let you know it show's in the staffs attitude. The servers need to learn the menu better and they all need a customer service seminar. When you overcook food don't shove it down the customers throat. It's the cost of doing business. The owners need to Find a new career and LOSE THE LET'S GET THEM BEFORE THEY GET US "ATTITUDE"
