We booked at the last minute privately through a condo owner and it was great. The accomodations were simple but clean. The amenities and location were excellent. There were 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pool. The smaller shallow (3 ft) pool was fantastic for younger kids learning to swim. Everynight they provided a bonfire with entertainment for the kids which was a ton of fun. They had charcoal grills outside all the condos and gas barbecues by the pool for anyone to use. Towels were provided by the pool. Close to Storyland, outletss and beautiful Echo Lake. Excellent vacation.

My husband and I stay at this property a few times per year. Typically, once in the summer, and twice in the winter. One of our trips in the winter is usually a week. We have stayed in other places in this area but always end up coming back to LMG. Do they have their problems? Yes of course. Sometimes some of the pools, steam room or hot tubs are not working. But over all we have decided it is the best value for our money. There are many pools & hot tubs to chose from on all their properties all times of the year. Their fitness club, which is available to all is fantastic. We have no children so we prefer to stay at the Victorian Village or the Highlands. This gives us gas fireplaces (my husband used spend all his time tending the fire in the Nordic Village where they have wood fireplaces), a kitchen, and a large jacuzzi for times when we don't want to get dressed to go to the other hot tubs. The views are tremendous!! The ice skating on the ponds with bon fires are terrific. The penthouse suites are nice for a weekend retreat. We prefer more room & a kitchen when were staying longer. We also enjoy the restaurants in the area so don't like to be tied down with the packages some of the resorts in the area offer, which means you eat where you stay. When we arrive & if we find problems with our unit we call and they are always promptly taken care of. I would recommend LMG to any family, with or without children!!

My husband and I stayed at Nestlenook Farm B&B and the Nordic Village units.

First the B&B..... We decided to try the B&B as we've never stayed in one before. The B&B itself is beautiful. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous (although would have been even more gorgeous had we been there in the winter!). The owner of the B&B totally restored it, and paid alot of attention to detail. That being said, the place gave me the creeps! It's definitely just a personal opinion on my part. It was built in the late 1700's and while beautiful, it felt really spooky to me. Probably because we arrived so late at night and had to tip-toe around, it was our first experience at a B&B, no tv, etc. The next morning we moved to the Nordic Village units for the remainder of our stay.

Now the Nordic Village units are a completely different feel, but not anywhere near as nice as Nestlenook even though the price was similar. Our unit was a Penthouse with a King bed on the 3rd floor. No elevator, so be prepared to haul luggage. The units are cheaply made which is ok however, NOT ok for the price we paid. Cleanliness left ALOT to be desired. Hair clippings floating in water in the sink faucets, someone else's bathwater and bath oil came out of the jacuzzi jets in the bathroom tub, stained carpeting, hair on the spare pillows in the closet, I could go on.

I would stay here again and deal with what I've written if they were priced for what they are.

LMGNH was fabulous. After staying in hotels and motels in North Conway we decided to stay at Nordic Highlands. A 3 floor condo/townhouse. We were 12, 3 families of 4 and each had our own floor...all six kids were 2-5 years old. it was fabulous for many reasons, one-the kids could go to bed and the adults could stay up in another room!, it was tremedously clean! the pools provided hours of fun and the magician and clowns along with the bonfire/marshmellow roast everynight was the perfect night cap for the kids. it was adventurous wandering to the car at night too with all the black bear around...they were harmless though, just looking through the dumpstrers!!!

Highly recommended, we are rebooking for next year already.
