“Family mini vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

Loved the feel of this cosy B/B.Located right near town so you can walk to coffee houses, ski rentals ,shopping, etc.,etc.. but it felt like a cabin in the woods. The hearty breakfasts were delicious and there was even a lovely treat of a cider donut at night.Relaxing at night by the fireplace was refreshing and it was great to see my family "unplugged" doing things like playing board games and helping to put a puzzle together .The innkeepers were wonderful and accommodating. Wonderful weekend.

Nellie and Leon are exceptionally warm and go out of their way to make you feel welcome in their home. The inn is charming and has a beautiful living area where there is nice music and a roaring fire to welcome you home. Home baked goods throughout the day and some very sweet dogs who come by - if you are lucky - makes this an idyllic choice for a getaway from our normal hectic lives. The inn is exactly one minute from Cranmore Mountain but somehow tucked away so no hectic traffic. And its less than five minutes away from outlet shopping. Perfect location, charming inn, and wonderful hosts!

We didnt book and just rocked up. And what a lucky find. Nellie and Leon run a warm and friendly place. They add a certain je ne sais quoi to spruce moose because it is their home too. I hope they stay in business for a long time more.

Nothing better after a good day on the slopes than sit down in front of the log fire with cookies and a brew. Nellie and Leon go far beyond the extra mile to be great host so the Moose feels like staying with friends. We have stayed four times from the UK and love the Met Coffee house down the street. We have never stayed anywhere before where the owner Leon gave our skies a once over for us. Great feeling of being in New England

We've been staying with Nellie and Leon for at least 8 years. We love them-they're like our second family. We've stayed in every cottage, stayed in the inn, and both of their houses.

The breakfast that's included with your staying the inn (not cottages and houses ) is incredible. Leon used to own a bagel/coffee place in NY. He's humble but Can cook a mean breakfast!!

While we enjoy staying in the cottages and the inn, we really enjoy the big spruce house. With a massive fully furnished kitchen, cozy living room and plenty of sleeping space it really is our home away from home. We always feel welcome by Nellie and Leon. Don't know what we would do without out winter escape with our entire family and furry family too. The innkeepers go out of their way to make your stay great. Location is the best for all local skiing and restaurants . Or you can just kick back après ski with friends and family in the cozy house. Will keep coming back time and time again. The Woolley's

Nellie was a great host - even loaned us her personal corskscrew when ours failed. It is obvious that this place welcomes and likes dogs (the owners have three of their own). Good location in North Conway - near restaurants and outlet shopping.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway with our dogs! The owners are very friendly and very accommodating. Would have given 5 stars but the couch was very uncomfortable - wanted to unwind after a full day of hiking.
Lovely place to visit!
