“B&B that cannot be beat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

Cant say enough about this place, best B&B my wife and I have ever been to.It was our 25th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately Bruce was away but Jessica was a GREAT hostess. Can't wait to go back to meet Bruce. The food/hospitality/atmosphere was perfect. We had the luxury suite for privacy but after meeting the other guests in the breakfast room and in the common room at night was nice. Everyone was sooooo friendly and we be back for sure!!!

This inn was supremely clean and the free breakfast was simply amazing. The hosts were attentive and went above & beyond our expectations. Atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and romantic. Bruce & Jessica, everyone is on a 1st name basis at the inn, gave the best advice on what to visit and where to eat. This was our best vacation ever!

Room Tip: All rooms are pretty, those with fireplace are larger but you dont have to pay extra for them in the...

A wonderful find - we spent four nights at this superb bed and breakfast and would have happily stayed for longer. Jessica and Bruce take a real pride in their property with many personal touches that makes it feel better than home! The breakfasts are varied with some superb specials and all cooked to order. The afternoon tea/coffee and cookies was very welcome. The personal touch even extends to providing leaflets which they have prepared on local drives and beauty spots.

You just have to stay at the Cabernet Inn! Jessica and Bruce are fantastic owners. Her breakfasts are made fresh from a menu with FIVE choices, and a daily special cooked to order, not just a casseroll or limited to one item as many bed and breakfasts are. Afternoon snacks are also delicious...and fresh!!
Two breakfasts like hers would cost you $25-to $30 in a restaurant...NO room for lunch after Jessica's meals!!!
Very clean and charming, quiet Inn. A real bargain. We have stayed at B&B's all over New England, and this is the best!! Very comfortable chairs and beds.
Take some time to enjoy the quiet back lawn, with whatever wine and cheese you purchase nearby!!

Room Tip: The luxury room is also a great value, compared to other B&B's!! No traffic noise at all.

We had an amazing time staying with Bruce and Jessica ( who's French Toast is TO DIE FOR )! You will not be disappointed by your stay here with them! Hands down, they offer the best price for such an amazing Bed n Breakfast. The place is so comfortable, clean, and feels so much like home. They offered us so much information for attractions in the local area, which we did and highly recommend while you're there. We plan on going back ASAP.

Room Tip: Room with jacuzzi, fireplace, own bathroom and entrance was amazing!

My wife and I just returned from out 4th visit with Bruce and Jessica (engagement, honeymoon and 2 anniversaries...need I say more). I can not say enough, other than that we have no interest in staying anywhere else. Walking through the doors is like you've arrive at your own home in the mountains. The Cabernet is so beautiful, so friendly and a place that is very difficult to leave!. Bruce and Jessica have created a trasure that is not to be missed. We plan to return early and often. The area provides great dining, attractions, shopping and more. Please consider the North Conway area, and please visit the Cabernet!

My husband and I recently returned from our yearly trip to New Hampshire, staying at the Cabernet Inn. We've been going for can't remember how many years now running, lost count. Nevertheless, it is still the place we'll return to again. The quality of service, cleanliness, comfort, cost, accommodation and most of all the ambiance is unchanged. It is still the one place we look forward to returning again and again. This year Bruce and Jessica treated us to their luxury suite and I can't tell you what that meant to us! We will be staying in that room again next year - loved it, pure luxury! The inn is so elegant, quiet, peaceful, cozy - can't use enough words to describe how much we love returning there. No children, no pets, centrally located. OMG and the breakfasts and afternoon treats are amazing! It's still number one. Over the years we have not seen a decline in any area or aspect of the inn. It is still our number one go-to place to get away from it all. The added bonus is that we can call Bruce, Jessica and Cleo our friends. It is still the number one place in our book.

Room Tip: All rooms are impeccably clean. The inn is cozy. All rooms are reliably private, clean and quiet.
