“five stars, every time, food service and view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2014

I work at a hotel 2 miles away from this restaurant, so I end up recommending it a lot. I also hear what every single party says about their meal upon return. Whether its a family, couple, or person dining alone, Bubbas consistently takes such amazing care to give everyone a perfect meal. The people that work there seem generally happy (hard to come by in the service industry) and it's reflected in the things that people say about their visit.

I haven't heard of anyone saying anything bad about the food, not even once. I get rave reviews about the seafood (swordfish, seoul, haddock, lobster, and their signature seafood chowder) people love their brick oven pizza, and their pasta and salads. I've personally eaten the pulled pork and their house made BBQ sauce was so good you wanted to lick the sauce dish clean.

They also have that unbeatable lake view, and with the harbor across the street you can park your boat, go swimming, get dinner, and then get ice-cream at their stand next door. It's also a year-round restaurant, which is a big deal in this lake/ski town. Go Bubbas! You guys are great!

“Nice meal, decent price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

Great cocktails! Although the seafood chowder is "award winning", I would not recommend it. Friendly, attentive service.

“Excellent Pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

The food and service was very good. The place can be a little noisy but that is to be expected. Had great brick oven pizza. They were all very unique in their toppings. The fried green beans are also excellent. A beautiful setting and easy access by boat from Lake Sunapee.

“Great view of harbor from the bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

The place was crowded on a Tuesday night in July. We opted to sit at the bar and were really happy we did. The bar allows for a great view of the harbor and beach across the street. Our bartender Kim was terrific and the food came fast, well cooked and presented well. I had the whole clam roll which could have handled one or two more whole clams, but which was really delicious. I ordered the risotto side and that was tender and tasty. My wife had the caesar salad with salmon and loved every bite of it. I tried Bubba's Brown Ale Brew (which I learned is made for them by Long Trail Brewery) and it wasn't quite to my liking. It tasted citrusy with a burnt smokey aftertaste. However, along with the meal, it all went down. We really enjoyed this location and will be back.

“Try it, It's worth it!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

The food and service are always consistently great. If your looking for a place to eat with great food and a good price then stop here. Their specials are always worth a try. If you have room after supper try the hot fudge which is made fresh every day on some vanilla ice cream.
