My husband and I just returned from a wonderful trip to New London, New Hampshire. We stayed at the New London Inn, which is an old (parts of it date to 1792) inn on the Main St. of New London. The inn keepers, Bridget Leroy and Eric Johnson, were wonderful in helping us decide what area attractions we should see, and the inn was homey, comfortable, and the food was delicicious. We could not have asked for a better place to stay, and better hosts. Although New London is a small town, there were numerous activities, including great restaurants, shopping in charming boutiques, lots of antiquing, and best of all, Lake Sunapee. The lake is pristine and clear, and there are not the summer crowds that I understand normally bombard the Eastern part of our country.
Thank you again, Bridget and Eric!
