We looked for a place with a European feel and this was it! Tom and Carol are just wonderful and you just feel so at ease there hanging out in the "stube". Totally taking a bunch back with us in the winter to sit by the beautiful ceramic wood stove. I recommend the Mile Away restaurant as well.

Four of us met here for a couple of nights. It was really a terrific experience, much better than a hotel. The hosts were wonderful. Thanks, Carol and Tom! Breakfast was great, wonderful fresh fruit, scones, sharp cheese. We have been to Austria a couple of times and this place is authentic. We are originally from the area and are so glad we decided to try this for a refreshing change. They even welcomed another family member who came in for coffee each day. Be prepared for the unusual shower set up, but we slept well and we loved every minute.
Im form Germany and was at this guest house tis Feb. I felt like home in good old Germany. The Innkeepers where really heartily and caring. It was a pleasure to stay at this authentic german guesthouse. Have a look on my pictures I took than you will know what I mean.
