“LOVE it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Great service, friendly staff. We LOVED "King", the first hibachi chef. EXCELLENT food!!!! Very tasty and consistent. Nice bar, nice seating -we love the hibachi grill and the "show"! You can order take-out online, and if you're within their range, you can get it delivered. Sake House is good for lunch and for dinner. The sushi is terrific too, creatively done.

“Excellent Hibachi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

We decided to try this place as we had heard they were offering Hibachi. My husband is a big fan of Japanese Steakhouses so we decided to give it a go.We went rather later and we were the only Hibach customers. The Chef treated us as if we were the only guests in the World. The performance was very pleasing and the food was excellent. We went back the next week with several family members in tow.We had the same Chef and he gave another amazing performance. We had a great time.I highly recommend this place. We haven't tried the Chinese food offerings yet but I am sure they are just as amazing.

“All it needs is a better atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

Since this place changed from "Kowloon Wasabi" it has become much more consistent and professional. I have been for sushi several times and hibachi once. The latter was with a large group, and everyone was satisfied.

They do have a tendency to play really annoying CW music over the sound system, and the overall atmosphere is very "storefront." Really, though, I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could!

“Don't call it a buffet if it's not!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

So Sake House advertises an all you can eat buffet for $7.95 they hand you a menu and allow you to pick 4 items only. They bring out your food and the food is OK not outstanding by any means. Now if you want to order anything else mind you this is an all you can eat buffet that you have paid for then you have to eat everything on your plate or they will not bring you anything else. What are we 12 who are they to say we don't want you to waste the food on your plate. Yes, that is what they said to my husband. So instead of calling it a buffet just say you ordered a luncheon special. If you want a great buffet with staff that doesn't insult you by telling you to clean your plate then go to Golden Palace in Milford. That is where we will be from now on!
