Although it looks like anything but a promising site for a good Mexican restaurant, it is. Tucked in a small plaza off busy 101A, it has a convenient, if not scenic, location. The food is solid Mexican fare (from someone who's lived in the Southwest and has eaten and made Mexican food for years). The menu offerings are pretty standard fare, but all are solidly prepared. We've eaten there half a dozen times, and have never been disappointed with any of the dishes we've ordered. It's gotten a lot busier lately, and that speaks to its success. There was a definite need for a good Mexican restaurant in this area.
