“Best Steaks in New Hampshire”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

We enjoy great steaks, especially rib-eyes, and Buckley’s consistently delivers the best in New Hampshire. At our dinner party the other night, most of us could not resist the Kansas City Rib-Eye special of the night. The steaks had been rubbed with dry BBQ seasonings and grilled to tasty perfection! They were served with Parmesan new potatoes and garlic green beans.

My husband and one other guest “oohed and ahhhed” over the night’s swordfish special. The hearty steaks were thick, juicy and cooked just right!

Wedge lettuce fans should note that Buckley’s wedge is a beauty. The iceberg lettuce is sprinkled liberally with tomatoes, bacon, and some red onion. You choose bleu cheese or cherry pepper ranch dressing.

We also heartily recommend the onion rings. They may not be “THE” best in the state, but they come close. These are great for panko fans. The rings are thick-cut, panko-encrusted, flash-fried, and disappear right before your eyes. With 8 in our group, two large-sized baskets vanished easily.

We also love their house-made chips and dipping sauce… and the fried orange sesame tenderloin tips are uniquely delicious.

Buckley’s wait staff is well-trained and highly attentive. Our favorite is Constantina (Connie). She’s super.

“The BEST Burger Bar!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

The House Burger concocted from grinding various cuts of premium beef and whatever marinade or seasoning they might be using creates one of the absolute BEST tasting burgers available in this area. Grilled to perfection, topped with savory extras, when I'm hungry for a great burger I think of Buckley's.

The service and attention is in our experience always friendly and attentive.

Other items on the menu are or have been enjoyable but I inevitably fall back on this menu item.

“Anniversary dinner done right!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

Lots of places around Nashua, this gorgeous renovated colonial restaurant is worth a visit. Pretty close to our hotel. Wife had sugar crusted steak. Sweet hints and juicy. I had the special coffee ground rubbed steak. Nice kick, well blackened. Scallops melted in my mouth, and I don't usually care for them! Will be back again!

“Late night delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

Often go for a late night dinner in the bar or the new back room with a small fireplace. Very nice atmosphere, good size portions, good service. Will go again.
