Located in the heart of Meredith, NH across from Lake Winnipesaukee in the historic Mill Falls Marketplace, Giuseppe's is a unique and popular must-visit landmark establishment known for being “Very Musical, Very Italian & Very Good!” Checkered table cloths, old wooden beams and a festive Italian atmosphere accompany the nightly live musical entertainment and delicious food. The expansive menu has “something for everyone” and includes award winning hand-tossed pizza, classic Italian specialties, a variety of chicken, seafood, steak, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, salads, sandwiches, soups and desserts. The two bars are equipped with all of the finest spirits, ten beers on tap, a fantastic International Wine List with more than 100 selections and televisions for the sports enthusiasts.“The Grotto” at Giuseppe’s, created in the original foundation of the old Linen Mill Building next to the Waterfall at Mill Falls, is a cozy, natural rendition of an old-world Italian “Cellar” with wrought iron, brick, wood and stone where dinner is served nightly and private functions are hosted. “The Grotto” transforms into a late-night mini dance club at 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and Karaoke is hosted every Thursday night. Reservations are gladly accepted and highly recommended. Please call for reservations, take-out, delivery and private function booking information.

“A+ pizza delivery!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2010

Yummy pizza AND they deliver!

Don't be fooled by the sizes on the menu - that "small" pizza is actually enough for two people. Oh well, lesson learned for next time.

Their gourmet pizzas average about $15 each for a small, but both times we've ordered from Giuseppe's the food's been delicious. Thin crust, zesty sauce, piled with toppings and served piping hot. I really like the fact that Giuseppe's doesn't skimp on the toppings.

If you don't want pizza, check out the rest of their extensive menu. Sandwiches, salads, calzones and pasta plus a kids menu for the little ones.

We've never dined in, so I can't give you feedback on atmosphere or waitstaff; however, I can tell you the delivery service is fast and friendly.

“Very good for what it is”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2010

Giuseppe's is perfect for what it is... the less expensive alternative to a variety of theme restaurants in the greater Mills Falls complex of 4 unique inns and the shopping center. My wife and I stay for about 2 nights at different inns within the Mills Falls complex several times per year and one night we usually go for a higher end dinner and the other night we go for less expensive comfort food. Giuseppe's has a great atmosphere, live music, and the food is very good for a pizza parlor type of place. Giuseppe's doesn't match the quality of food at places like Lago and Lakehouse, but it doesn't try too. If you're looking for tasty, less expensive Italian-American food in Meredith, this is the spot!

“ehhhh”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2010

Nice atmosphere.. especially if you sit by the waterfall. I think I am spoiled when it comes to italian food but this place did not do it for me. It was OK because I was starved but I wouldnt run back there anytime soon.

If you are used to real Italain food, your not going to be thrilled with this place.

“DO NOT MISS!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2009

Wow, I am not sure I can write a review that can accurately convey what you are in store for on a trip to Giuseppe's. This is absolute quality in mid-state New Hampshire.

You wouldn’t think walking in to the restaurant in the Mill Falls marketplace that you would be getting some dishes similar to those in Boston, New Haven, and NYC. But not to get ahead of myself, the first thing should try to make it in for is John on the piano. It’s a very nice touch to the night and perfect background ambiance for a dinner. If you start with appetizers make sure that the fried zucchini and among them. That’s not to say that the calamari and bruschetta aren’t worth sampling.

There really aren’t many things on the menu that I could single out to say make sure and try because everything is really terrific. Whether its pizza, pasta, or some type of seafood, I don’t think that you will be disappointed. I will say that I personally love the linguine with white clam sauce as well as chicken marsala. On one trip I watched a friend of mine eat the seafood fra diavalo in one sitting. The meal itself must have about a pound of linguini and another pound of seafood that includes lobster, shrimp, mussels and scallops.

One note to consider if you are staying in a hotel in the area and don’t feel like venturing out into the snowy night: THEY DELIVER! Please take advantage.
