We go to CJ's regularly. The food is quite good, and if you find that there is any problem, speak to your waitstaff because the mgr will make it right with you. We always get the chicken tortilla soup, it is great. I frequently eat their salads because of watching my weight and have never been disappointed. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer, nachos, chicken quesidilla -- all good. They have two different types of salsa, one is a little "smoky" flavored and has meat, the other is a more typical vegetarian salsa -- ask for what you want, including both. There is never a problem with substitutions or "hold the cheese" or any special request -- love that about CJ's. Their "choose two" menu items at $9.99 are a good bargain; you can select two from various soups, salads and sandwiches; besides your "two" it comes with your choice of chips, fries or macaroni salad. We are not drinkers but I enjoy their sangria from time to time. Their Mexico and Texas rooms can be quite noisy when they are busy, so getting seated in Arizona (where there are no large parties & all booths) is desireable. Their coupons and Paybacks Club make eating out reasonably priced. Menu is quite varied and includes steaks, chicken dishes, vegetarian items, fish/seafood. Call ahead and expect a wait on busy Friday and Saturday nights. Our only complaints: we get to like a menu item and they discontinue it; also on occasion it can be slow getting your check and getting on your way though this latter issue has been improving. There is little turnover of waitstaff at CJ's -- that tells you something about how they treat their help. They also run a number of promotions throughout the year to benefit local charities. They serve everytthing on their menu until late, late into the evening. Go there.
