“Great atomosphere...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

I love going to the old diners. This one is attached to the Holiday Inn so it was convenient since the hotel does not offer food. Enjoyed a nice breakfast and a courteous staff at a reasonable price. Many options on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“Greasy spoon!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013 via mobile

I ordered breakfast, not too hard to screw up one would think.
The bacon I got was WAY UNDERCOOKED and cold! Ordered eggs medium, the whites weren't all the way cooked.
Whatever you do if you sit at the service counter don't look up! The ceiling tiles haven't been cleaned since the last time I was in about a year ago. Behind the counter where the cooking area is in need of an overhaul and cleaning as well.
Alex Ray ought to think about his current restaurants instead of opening more like its a marathon! What a dump..

“Fun place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Great location to stop and enjoy a meal before taking off. Reasonable prices, ample portions and good variety of eats. The Thanksgiving sandwich is great. Bison burger was sort of a let down but not horrible. Fun atmosphere, great service.

“OPEN 24 HOURS, EZ-PZ, 50's Revisited--Great Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Owned by Common Mans, can't go wrong here, at Manchester's Airport Diner, aptly named for convenience, and atmosphere! Counter, stools, booths, tables, friendly wait-staff, be-boppin music, rock n roll memorabilia all 'round, and comfort food galore! Smells, sounds, sights, all good here!

On our way to/from -- utilizing Manchester's Boston-Regional Airport -- staying overnight next door, or dropping by on our way home to the beach, from wherever we've traveled, with family, friends, or just us two, we're happy eating and spending time at the Airport Diner! Frappes, home-made ice cream and comfort food, with hearty breakfasts served all day, c'mon, how can you not stop by, where there's something for everyone?!

“Just an average diner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

I ate lunch here with a colleague on a business trip to Manchester.

The interior and exterior are classic 1950's diner. The interior has a fair amount of ersatz old fashioned decor, but it's not overbearing.

I ordered a bowl of chili, which sounded promising from the description (made with 'steak tips'). It had a few steak tips in it, but it was mostly ground beef. The consistency was fairly thin, and it had absolutely no heat whatsoever. I mean none. It was almost more of a spaghetti sauce with some kidney beans in it.

For my main course, I had the meatloaf special, which was okay. Two thin slices of fairly dry meat loaf and some canned gravy.

The service was quick and efficient.

The food, however, was not really that great. I know this place has a fairly loyal local following, but I've been to much better diners than this (see my recent review of the Tamaqua diner).

I probably wouldn't eat here again. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't that great.
