This was my second and last visit to Crazy Horse campground. Last year, one of my sisters rented a tent site and I rented a trailer with another sister. When I booked a trailer for this year, I requested the same site we had last year. First, Barbara charged a debit card that belonged to my sister who rented a tent site last year and was not booking this year. When she phoned to let her know, she gave her a hard time stating that she does not hold onto credit/debit card information which is an obvious lie, not to mention illegal. When we checked in, again, we were told we would have the same site as the previous year. We went to the trailer and the key did not fit. I went back to the office and was told we had the same one, which was not. Instead, we were placed in a trailer that faced backwards , was next to the electrical supply unit and had the waste pump line running through the tiny yard. My 50 year old husband took my 2 year old niece on the seesaw in the park and it broke. Thankfully she was not hurt. We brought her into the trailer to check on her because she fell off and hit the ground hard. During this time, some of the children at the camp went to tell the owners what happened. Barbara and Joe drove up on their golf carts and came over yelling and telling us "this is not going to work out" I told her we would gladly leave with a refund. She said sure, but I am charging you for tonight. I decided to stay since we had just arrived and I would leave the next morning. I packed up, cleaned the trailer the next morning and went to the office to check out where I was verbally assaulted by both Joe and Barbara. Joe seemed to think he was not going to refund me and he said he was going to charge me $800 for the seesaw. I told him he was lucky I was not bringing him up on charges for faulty park equipment which could have severely injured my 2 year old niece. Barbara had told me she would refund me then she said she was not going to. I paid cash on Friday when I arrived, they then said they would credit my card which is absurd. It took half an hour, and they credited the WRONG card, which again, she insists she does not retain credit/debit card info on customers. They never once asked how my niece was. They lie, are rude and treat you like criminals from the minute you check in. There is no privacy as they are driving on golf carts to your site all day and night. I would not recommend this campground to anyone who wishes to have a good vacation. Rude does not begin to describe this couple.
