The Bishop Farm B&B was the first bed and breakfast that my husband and I have ever stayed at after being married for 22 years, believe it or not. Therefore we had some hesitations in terms of privacy and comfort. It turned out to be a lovely place to stay. There has been a tremendous amount of restoration done on the place, and a neat album that shows all of the hard work put into it (we can relate because we own an antique as well!).

Each room has a private bath and, personally speaking, our room was very well appointed. I am very finicky about where I sleep and found the linens and bed to be clean and comfortable. The breakfast served was scrumptious - fresh eggs from Annie's chickens, coupled with fresh potatoes from her garden. Annie and Maggie run this place and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The other people staying there were also very friendly and we had a great time talking with the various guests.

Bring comfortable shoes and layers because this is up above Franconia Notch State Park so the weather is unpredictable. There are some walking trails cut around the 20 acre property, plus a trail connecting to the snowmobile trail where you can take a nice jog to a pond.

They also are opening up the cottages as they restore each one, and you are allowed to bring pets if you stay in a cottage.

Our family had a blast at Bishop Farm. The kids loved the animals and the swing and their independence in their own cottage and we loved the attractive, neat and tidy cottage equipped with everything we could possibly need. Beds were nice and interior design of rooms was fresh and pretty with a more modern clean "modern farm" flavor. When I came back home, it made me want to brighten my house with brighter paint colors because it was so refreshing and beautifully done. Hosts will do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one. The owner's pride in accomplishment in all they have done with to improve these properties is apparent and makes it a joy to be there.

We could not have found a better place to house our 26 family members from Belgium who came to the White Mountains of NH to celebrate a wedding. Annie and her sister Heather Salter and their mother Maggie welcomed us with open arms. Their home become ours where we could hang out and have a drink either on the porch, the TV room, or the living.

Annie's logo: "A Bed and Breakfast should offer an excellent bed and an exquisite breakfast" is precisely what you will get: a top of the line posturepedic bed and a gourmet breakfast, flowers on the side. Their hospitality comes from the heart. They send you off in the morning with all the information you want and need at that moment and welcome you back at night with genuine interest on your days' adventures. It is home and family away from home and family.

We spent 3 nites in one of their dog friendly cottages. The bed was awesome, extremely comfortable, with great pillows and extremely clean bed covering. There was no odors in the room and which had been cleaned throughly, and well maintained. Beautiful grounds and relaxing atmosphere. The owners made us feel right at home and very much welcome. Will be staying here again... Tu Family of Farmington, CT

We rented two cottages at Bishop Farm - one for the parents and one for the kids. They loved the freedom and we loved the convenience and amenities. The cottages were cute and cozy. Maggie and Annie were great hosts that made us feel like we are always welcome. Nearby Polly's Pancake Parlor and the wilds of Franconia Gap made for great vacation memories. Our youngest just wanted to stay at the Farm all day to play with the chickens and the Guinea hens or browse in the Antique store next door. Everyone would love to go back again soon.
