“A little gem in the town of Lincoln - Exit 32”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

The owners MAKE this place, period. Always smiling, friendly, pointing you in the right direction for fresh ingredients and local fares. Every time we are around, we make a point to shop there either for groceries or for one of their many lunch sandwich offerings. The homemade brownies are out of this world. Pair that with some vanilla bean ice cream and fresh berries, you'll be in heaven ;) Lots of gluten-free and vegan products and upscale treats are also available. This is so welcome in this little town!

“best stop for groceries near Lincoln, NH”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

We stopped here for groceries and although the prices are more in line with NYC grocery stores, the quality of the food is great. This is the only place we found that carries vegan and/or organic food. A wider selection of local produce (the berries were from NJ...) would be great. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location is central to anyone staying in/near Lincoln.

Thanks for your great feedback and interest in our local products. Buying local and supporting local suppliers is one of our main goals. During periods when local produce and products are not available we expand our search to local states and/or organic suppliers. As the summer moves along and more produce becomes available locally we purchase that. We currently purchase most of our produce locally, (now including local blueberries) however we still purchase our apples, pears and other out-of-season fruit from organic growers out of the region. Looking forward to seeing you again when you're in the area.

“Go here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I were trying to find something for lunch that we could take back to our cottage. We just happened to stroll into The Purple Tomato. We got lobster rolls and chips to go. They were phenomenal! Very fresh and the owners were so friendly. A must if you're in the area!

I love the Purple Tomato! Their fish is the freshest and the lobster rolls are phenomenal with a very fair price.

We are happy to hear you like the lobster rolls. We believe the little things like using the best lobster with no other fillers, grilling the buns in real butter and serving them with a smile really makes a difference.

“Best of the North Country!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

Get off at exit 32, and treat yourself to this piece of heaven! The selection of foods is something worth the stop! Take it to go for the dinner time or have it for lunch! Your tummy will thank you over and over again, what great service and kindness buy the workers!
