“Very good stay in nice location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Pro
- I love Jackson village. We drove through N Conway, mayhem in leafing season whereas Jackson is genteel and beautiful.
- B&B offers great breakfasts. I had pancakes 1 day, scrambled eggs the next , both excellent. Coffee is also very good
- there are free cookies, snacks and tea, coffee all day. A nice touch
- it is more of an inn than a B&B, with lots of rooms, a lounge with fire. Rooms are bright with fireplace. Very clean

Cons
Unlike many other reviewers, the inn did not waw me. It was very good and I would advice it but there were a few things I did not like
- I hate blankets on the bed. It is my pet hate. This bed had 4 layers. They slipped off every night.
- mattress was odd, like a straw concoction. It was not uncomfortable, just strange
- bed was a four poster but quite old and noisy
- I shared the room with my snoring neighbour, not so nice
- whilst our bed room, room 9 Isaac Hull, was large and bright, the bathroom is tiny and drab looking
- a meagre offering of cheap toiletry products. Quite a let down

So all in all we enjoyed our stay. However compared to other inns we have visited in the US, this place is not yet perfect.

Room Tip: Room 1 is on ground floor, I wondered about noise levels. We were in room 9 on the 2 nd floor( first...

Excellent place to stay; we had a nice welcome and the inn was so relaxing. The best place to stay if visiting the White Mountains. The breakfast was delightful, We would go back for sure. Jackson is a cute delightful town.

This is just what you want in a B&B! Roomy and comfortable common areas and a wonderful, quiet private room. We traveled into Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont staying in different B&Bs along the way. While we loved them all, this one was our favorite. It felt comfortable with a great parlor (with fireplace) for relaxing and reading. The best; however, was the breakfast. Each morning we were greeted with a choice between four different breakfast choices and each of the four of us (two couples) loved everything we got. I just wish I had been able to sample some of the ones I didn't get to choose.

One night only at Jackson Inn is enough to get an idea of this place? Yes it is. It all started with the warmest welcome my family and I had ever received, followed by an invitation to try one of the home-made cookies that were offered to guests. The atmosphere in the Inn is amazing. It looks like, it feels like home. There is a nice sitting area with leather chairs and sofa. Breakfast is one great plus, exquisite and freshly made. It does make a difference when you spent the entire day in a car driving. The inn is perfectly located not more than 5 minutes from Jackson centre. What else to say? Yes, we entered as guests and we left as friends, at least I hope so. Tumbs up for the Inn at Jackson.

The Inn has a great location in a picturesque village. We really enjoyed our stay in the John Stark room. The breakfast was fantastic. Overall we found the staff very friendly and helpful and there was a comfort e and welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this Inn.

We are not typically B&B people but I'm now a convert. Wonderful little common bar area, cozy living area, welcoming foyer, indoor and outdoor wraparound porch. Everything about the Inn at Jackson is top notch - elegant but homey, very clean, quiet and in a beautiful setting. Even though the parking lot looked like the place was booked solid, we felt it was incredibly private. Staff is very warm and friendly, especially Annie Laurie. I love this place!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. We had a beautiful room on the 2nd floor- at the recommendation of the Inn keeper. We loved it- room 9. It is in the back of the Inn, very private and quiet. Decorated nicely- very comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was delicious and the service was great. You could be in your own but knew if you needed anything the Inn keeper was there. We loved it! We have stayed in many places in the Jackson area- this was our favorite. Thank you! And congrats on your 200th review!! Lol!! :)
